G.H. Clark Contractors can install any metal roofing from Standing Seam (hidden fastener) and Exposed Fastener to a variety of other specialty metal shingles. We will assist in selecting the appropriate type of metal roofing for your application.
We always recommend Standing Seam metal on any structure that is climate controlled, or consider living space, because of its hidden fastener system. Although some regions of the United States commonly use Exposed Fastener metal roofing over living space, it is not commonly recommended.
An Exposed Fastener roof contains hundreds of fasteners (screw) and each of those screws has a gasket that can, and most likely will fail before the metal roofing material itself has expired. Exposed Fastener roofing is typically found on sheds, barns and outbuildings.
With either choice, we always offer a Kynar 500 paint finish, which is one of the best finishes available and resists fading and will stand the test of time.
